I was wondering how the Rikki Wrap compares to Thirsties covers. I have added some prefolds to my stash and was just curious ... I can get Thirsties locally

I've not used Rikkis, but I love Thirsties.  They both have gussets, but Thirsties have laundry tabs, which Rikkis do not.  Since you can get Thirsties locally... I'd go with those!

I hate thirsties. Had problems with the binding wicking onto clothes. Never ever had a leak with a rikki wrap (or airflow for that matter).
Personally, compared to other covers I have tried, rikki wraps have more coverage where the leg gussets are concerned.
DD sleeps in a pf and rikki wrap. Goes 9+ hrs with no leaks. Thirsties.....we had leaks in way less time then that.
No laundry tabs not a problem. Just close the rikki and wash.

Hey there! This is the exact topic I was looking for today. I've been using infant prefolds with Thirsties and Sandies with AF covers for a week now. I really like the ease and the fit of the Thirsties, and they have only leaked once... but I still dont know if it was my fault or the cover. My AF covers havent leaked yet! Unless I get a good deal on some used Rikkis, then I will continue to use prefolds with Thirsties. I did get some BF poop on the gussett , and even after soaking and washing, it will not come out. But, that would probably be true on any cover. Good luck!

as for poop stain, just rewet the diaper and set it out in a sunny location for about an hour or less, the cover doesn't have to dry, but I know that this works well for diapers and other clothing that gets poop stains, and here in florida, 15 mins later the stain is gone, in california the diaper would dry in the sun but it takes forever out here.  So, I learned it doesn't matter if it dries.  I'm think it will work in cold weather too.
