I have some bald spots on my Bamboo Sandys, used for approx 6 months, not full tiem either, they are in a large rotation of pockets and other diapers. It is mostly in the leg area but some right in the middle. Is this a warranty issue. I have some unbleached that are far older with much more use and they are fine.

I am using Purex now. I have used Tide, and Kirkland, all HE. I also used Allens for a while. I use the odd scoop of washing soda or Borax.  That's it no bleach, no Oxi Clean. I have used Aveeno and Desitin Creamy butt cream. That's it.

Hello,

Not sure if Borax is harsh on fabric or if a scoop once in a while would be enough to create problems, but be careful with it! I have a friend who is not known to have sensitive skin, and recently she started using Borax to wash her white sheets and she would wake up in the middle of the night itchy all over. They stopped using Borax and she stopped having that reaction. Granted, people can be allergic to a whole bunch of weird things, but I suspect it's not as innocent as we may think...
