Hi! I have a theory for some bald spots I found on a couple of my regular COTTON Sandies...
We do not use bleach, or oxi-clean, we wash with soapnuts only, so I was a little baffled when a couple of my large cotton sandies got some bald spots on them... Thought about it for a long time and the only thing I can think of is that a couple of times, when hubby was changing a poopy diaper, he put the diaper in the toilet while changing DS and we sometimes use a "cleaner tablet" thing in the toilet tank (Lysol or whatever brand) and that contains some harsh chemicals (and some bleach)... So I'm thinking that the short soak those diapers got in the toilet affected them and that's where they got the bald spots from...
That's just my theory, but wanted to put it out there in case anyone uses those tablets in their toilet tanks and had mysterious bald spots on a few diapers!! |
