  Glycerine and CDs? (Dimples)
Posted: 6:21:45 pm on 2/10/2009 Modified: Never

My girl has been having bad rashes lately.  I think the wipes I'm using (flannel) are too rough on her bum, so I got some glycerine to add to my homemade wipe solution, and sometimes to apply directly to her skin when it's chapped.  I know disposable baby wipes contain glycerine and this is what makes them a bit slippery.
Curious if anyone else has any experience with glycerine.  Does it buildup on the dipes or is it hard to wash out?  I had been using Burt's Bee's apricot oil on her bum when her skin gets chapped but those stain my wipes badly, I bet that transfers onto my diapers in the wash (I wash them all together).

I haven't used glycerine on diapers, but it seems like it should dissolve well enough in hot water?  I'm wondering, though, have you tried just plain water?

I have tried plain water, it's just not "slippery" enough.
