So, I am in the midst of getting a few ME piece shere and there, and I got a Small Air Flow Cover on Diaper Swappers for a really good deal and when I opened the package, I was astonished at how HUGE it looks! Wowza!

Now, I have never cloth diapered before, and don't even have the Small Sandy's that I will be putting it over yet (ordering the intro pack ASAP with a bamboo Small Sandy with a Rikki Cover, in order to try them both and see which one I like better). But I can't believe how huge it looks. I know that a diaper will be under neath it, possibly with an insert in it as well, so my guess is it will fill it out, but I was just shocked! I can't believe this will fit a 6-12 pound baby!

Can anyone ease my mind on this?

Yes, it will fit your babe (though I think the small is listed from 8 lbs?); I used the S AF from 6.5 lbs. The AF does look big, but part of that is its design to let air move around. It sort of smooshes down underneath clothes. That being said, CD can look quite bulky on a newborn. It really comes down to your comfort with the look, but the diapers and covers will absolutely work wonderfully on your coming babe.

I just started using smalls (on my 8lb baby) and thought the same thing. They work great though!

Just remember those babies double in size by 2 months!
My son's MEOS fit him just below the nipple line, I swear. But by 3 months we weren't even folding them down anymore. They might be big to start with but they won't be for long.
