Hey! My son is around 11 lbs, and i thought I'd order a Rikki to try, for future knowledge, in size M (they say 10-20 lbs). It is huge, looks like it would go up to his little nipples! Does everyone find this, and will it be OK for now?

Also, since M covers are 10-20 lbs, and Sandys are up to 20 lbs... should the M covers be all I need till I need to buy new Sandys? Then, did I read before some people skip either the m or m/l and go straight to the next? Is one of the sizes skipped sometimes (sorry if that's confusing!)?

Thanks!

As long as you can live with the look, the M should work for you just fine.  ME covers have their recommended weight range, and often people can use them above and/or below those weights.  It really often comes down to personal preference and baby's build (like if your babe is a chunk, covers may come up higher/fit differently than for someone with a long, lean baby).  Baby will grow so quickly that soon those diapers and covers will look totally normal.

Yes, in theory the M covers should be enough to take care of your S Sandys use.
The M/L is the size that many people skip, but that is only available in the Airflow, not the Rikki (as far as I know).  The M/L is definitely skipable, but depending in baby's build, sometimes it can be nice (like if M is getting too small but you feel like L is ginormous).

My son is around 13 lbs now but the M still looks tall on him.  I skipped S.  I bought 3 XS and he still wears those too.  Can't tell you about the larger sizes yet.
