I have used ME diapers on both my children full time but have been struggling with a night time solution for my 4 year old.  She is about 41 lbs. and does not do well with the ME bedwetter pants.  I think the rash she gets is a heat rash as it starts out as a small rash and gets worse and worse throughout the day until there are raised bumps all over her bum.  She's fully potty trained during the day so I'm not sure why this is happening.  I know that it is not a detergent or buildup issues as I have ruled these out.    Alas, I have had her in disposable pull ups at night for a couple of years but I do not see an end in sight and can't take using disposables any more.

Has anyone used the Happy Heiny's training pants with insert for at night? From what I've read they're good for older bedwetting children.  Are they true to size?  She's 41 lbs. so I am a little leary of getting the mediums that fit 35-45 lbs. as sometimes the sizing can run a bit small so am thinking of getting a couple of larges but hope she doesn't swim in them.  Any thoughts?

With my 4 1/2 year old son I had him out of night time training pants completly since he was around 3 1/2.  I found that putting a cover on his bed (wool or waterproof cover i think swaddlebees makes one) worked better. He does still wet at night but he  tends to just start to pee and ends up in the washroom peeing out the rest.  I think that not wearing training pants at night helps them realize that they need to pee, also i find that he doesn't wet the bed as often now.  That could be because he is older.  I hope this helps.

Hi,

I use Happy Heiny training pants with my ds.  He's only 3 but they work well for him.  I stuff them using prefolds to get the absorbancy he needs...and that changes from time to time.  They do run big though, so if your dd falls in the med, get the med.  I also found that the ones with snaps on both sides are WAY easier to stuff.  They are puffy, but that allows for lots of stuffing room.
HTH,
Leah

These fit Very large.  I have mediums for my 38 lb 3.5 yr old and I wish I had purchased the small.  They are very poofy but work great.
