Just wondering.
I change my boy right after he wets but sometimes when we go out and are gone for a while so he pees more than once in a diaper, his woolies are damp.
It just makes me wonder what other mamas do with older kiddos. Do you ladies use liners with every daytime diaper?
We use Large Sandy's Bamboo.
Thanks!

I think the answer to this really does just depend on your babe.  For quite a while I did use a liner with every diaper, OS or L Sandys, on my DS#1, esp if I couldn't change him within about an hour and a half.  Once he was about 20 months or so I didn't need the liner anymore because he cut back fluids.  DS#2 has never needed an extra liner, except at night.
Both of my boys have been with AFs, not woolies; I'd wonder if possibly sitting (in a car or cart?) would compress the diaper/woolie and make it a little more prone to damp in that particular situation of heavy wetter with sitting?

I only did when I was using the One-Size on the girls. Otherwise the diaper would just be sopping wet after just one pee. But I didn't when I used the L. Sandy's, never felt the need even when going out.

I have to agree with aavt's idea about the wool itself being a possibility. Compression leaks can happen with wool and fleece when baby is sitting on it for (relatively) long periods... Personally I would just use a PUL cover for going out or try to make time to change frequently so that the diaper doesn't have a chance to get all that wet.

Karen.
