Our son is 16 months old and wears MEOS diapers with large airflow covers. He's a bigger-than-average boy, but since he's recently started to potty train himself I'm hopeful that he'll fit the MEOS diapers right through until he's trained. Even when using a doubler at night, we still have one more snap to let out before we reach the biggest fitting on the MEOS diapers. With the large covers however, I'm already using the loosest snap around the thighs. In our son's case, it also seems like a little bit more length in the rise might help the cover fit for longer. Because our boy is quite big around the thighs and smaller in the waist, he seems almost certain to grow out of the large covers before he grows out of the one size diaper. Has anyone tried using the XL Airflow covers with the MEOS diapers? Might this work for a child like ours? Might this enable us to get along for a few more months with the MEOS, rather than buying toddlease or other larger-size diapers? He's pretty active and seems likely to grow more in length than in bulk over the next 6 months or so, anyway. . . so a little bit more cover space around the thighs and in the rise might go a long way. I'd value any feedback on this question, especially from anyone who has used the XL covers over the MEOS diapers. Thanks a lot! Rebecca |
