  Soap nuts stains? (cakemom)
Posted: 8:54:25 pm on 5/8/2009 Modified: Never

I used soap nuts to wash some clothes and some of them came out with yellowish stains. I don't know what to think...I didn't notice any staining on my diapers, just on some of the light colored clothes. Has anyone else experienced this? Might it have been the essential oil (laundry tree 'energy' blend)?

Did you let the washer fill completely first before adding your bag of nuts? I had that happen to me initially and it was because the water was washing off the nuts, right onto my clothes! They eventually wash out but I learned to put my soapnuts bag in once the water was above the clothes.
I use energy too from laundrytree with no staining.
