Does anyone find it a big jump from Sm Sandy's to Large? I loved loved loved my Sm Sandys but find the Larges too big and the smalls too small now! I think they need an in between size!

I don't know, I suppose it depends on the build of the child I guess. For us with our twins the smalls and the larges had a huge overlap period where both fit fine. My girls could wear both from about 10-15 months...

Maybe just try using them for a while and maybe you'll get used to how they look and fit? Even if they're bigger than the strictly need to be I'm sure they won't leak or anything...

You could always send ME a friendly request, they're very open and friendly. Never know, if enough people ask for it maybe it'll happen someday.

Karen.

I didn't have any trouble with an in between period. In fact, I moved my boys from the small to the large and set the small aside. Shortly after moving them to the large they slimmed down a bit and I was able to use both the small and large for a short period. Right now we're in both the large (barely!!!) and the toddle-ease. With the changes from XS to S and S to L I do recall them seeming generous at first, but I quickly got used to it.

We transitioned just fine... in fact, we transitioned early because our family does THUNDER thighs... LOL!  So we outgrew our smalls early when they started leaving red marks.  The rise on the large is a little generous for a 6 month old, but not awful.  And since I'm CD'ing DC 2 I've gotten good about buying CD friendly clothes.

However, I can see that if your child's build is different, there could be an akward stage between the two.

This isn't an excuse, but I have noticed that Mother Ease is strongly commited to making cloth diapering an economical choice.  It's so easy to spend thousands on cloth if you get into all the fashionable and trendy diapers, or have to buy a new stash for multiple sizes.  I think part of their goal was to try and help you limit the amount you would have to spend.
