I have tried it with the Bummis Super Whisper Wrap with the velcro enclosures, and found it worked without any leaks. I didn't notice any problem with the velro part folding over or causing irritation, but I did have a few observations to share.
My baby is a large bundle of joy at 5 months, so I tried a larger size cover of both ME with snaps vs the whisper wraps velcro. I like how the ME is breathable, and that seemed to be evident. The legs on the Bummis wrap were a little more snug than I would have preferred: not as gentle as ME but my little one does have cute chunky thighs.
They both washed well, and both stopped leaks. Over a bamboozle, the whisper wrap was a good fit (so was the ME), but over the one size ME and the Sandys MD, the MD snap wrap seemed to be a greater fit. They both were about the same in bulkiness.
I didn't realize Bummis had snap wraps, so I didn't get one of those to compare, so I feel it's probly not a fair comparison. I did have a ME velcro wrap as well, which worked great, but this one had no laundry tabs (not sure if newer ones do now) but the Bummis did and I thought that was good.
