Hi there, I currently use the ME mesh bags in my diaper pail.  However, I plan to leave a diaper pail with my mom when she looks after DS full-time when I go back to work.  Does ME make a bag that isn't mesh but would fit in a diaper pail?  I'm thinking of the transportation issue from her house to my house where a mesh bag probably wouldn't be so good.  However, as I'm typing this, maybe she could wash the dipes at her place?  Is there another brand that I should look at if ME doesn't carry a plastic diaper pail liner?

hello there. my lactation consultant actually uses plastic garbage bags to line her open pail with. i know it sounds like a cheap alternative, but it works. she changes the bag once a week.

Actually, in the long term, I doubt it would be a cheap alternative as you have to buy new garbage bags as opposed to just washing the liner... One thing we do use is wet bags (like they sell for kayaking in outdoor stores). We use a small one in our diaper bag, it's waterproof, it seals the wetness AND the odor in and it's not too expensive. But they sell bigger ones, I assume it could work to transport dirty diapers back to your house from your mother's.

Bummis actually makes a wet bag that fits perfectly into the ME diaper pail.  I am fairly sure I have a large bag in my ME pail.  I use it when we travel as well and just toss it in the wash along with the diapers when we get home.  Cheap, simple and environmentally friendly.

I have a large wet bag from swaddlebees that fits into my ME pail. I got mine at thier outlet store site and it was half the cost of thier regular ones and there is nothing wrong with it at all I think it is just an old color
