I know you don't have to rinse EBF poo dipes, but do you need to rinse formula fed dipes??? It looks a little more solid than EBF poo does...

To my knowledge, you have to rinse it because it will not be water soluble and therefore will not go away in the washer. Not sure what the result would be, but I'd rather not find out ;-)

hmm.. good thing I asked. lol. He only had one bottle, so I think it's really only this dipe it affected, but I'd hate to make a mess of my washer.

If it's only one bottle, it's probably a mix of fluids, so you might be able to get away without rinsing.  You kind of have to judge by appearance, I guess!
