input on storing meos? (Fire Dancer)

when i take them out of the dryer, i fold them like sposies, accept i fold the wings over the dipe instead of inside of it. the only problem with this is that when i do that, the dipe is not the same thickness where the wings are. as a result, i can only get 4 on a stack before it becomes hard to close my dresser drawers. also, folding them in this manner takes me about 20 minutes to fold them and put them in the dresser while figuring out a way not to squish them between the drawer and the dresser top. any suggestions on an alternative way of putting them away? i would like some input on how mother's on here store there dipes. thanks.

I just fold mine over in half, with the inside inside but the wings open.  Then I just stack them up and put them on top of the shelf over the changing table.  That pile goes up to the 20 or so OS I have and it's okay because I don't get that bulkier part by the wings.  I don't bother folding the wings in because I figure that when I need to use the diaper, the wings will need to be open again anyway at first.  When I'm at my in-laws and have to store the diapers in a drawer, I still just fold them over and place in the drawer in short piles oriented perpendicular to the drawer front so I can get two piles in a drawer (but I will admit that space is not an issue there).

Hello,
I would not fold them at all.  I just stacked them up flat, one on top of the other.  Why fold them when you just have to open them up again to put them on baby?  Know what I mean?

yes i know what you mean lol. i have actually tried that and i still get the issue of them not fitting well. it might be due to the fact that the drawer is a tad too short to store them flat. and as far as storing them with the wings out, i tried and i cannot do that due to the dividers that are in the diaper drawer. i wonder if they can be taken out? i will have to check.  oh by the way just a tip for people with urine smell in their dipes. sorry if it is ot. but i had my dipes sitting for 4 days or so because i did not use all of them in the recommended 3 day max period before washing. i put a laundry detergent capful of baking soda in with my all F C detergent. and i used about a cup of white veniger in the rince. perfect perfect! they came out smelling actually like nothing at all but clean!

I would stack them in piles of 5. I would do like you mention fold the wings in stack 5. then ROTATE the next 5 so that the open part withthe wings were at the CROTCH of the previous 5. I could EASILY do this for 20 diapers if I have the space to stack them

Its kinda hard to explain
