  Help with wing-droop? (jessnye)

Hi all- I have a very busy and active 17 month old who has a tiny waist (16.5") and fairly big thighs (about 12 inches.)  He weighs 21 lbs.  He can wear the meos folded down and snapped on the smallest setting (but not crossed over- so maybe the next to the smallest setting)for his waist, but after a little while the folded down waist curls up so it's not really folded down anymore and the wing come out from under it which opens up the leg holes so there are gaps.  I also have tried putting in a liner and having him wear it on the larger setting which is big for his waist and rise but nicer on his thighs but it gets really saggy so there are still leg gaps.  Today I laid a liner in without snapping it and folded down the waist and it worked with a pretty messy poop but there were some small leg gaps.  But poop didn't come out.  Anyone else have this issue?  I have ordered some Sandy's so I can customize the leg/waist adjustment but I'm due to have a newborn in a couple of weeks so want to keep my meos at least for the diaper bag.

I didn't have this exact problem, although on my younger son (very skinnny), the OS was definitely a bit drooper than on my older son (chunk).  That being said, with the AF on, it didn't really matter, as that kept everything in.  You's be surprised that you don't really need the snuggest fit to do the trick.  I was looking at the OS last night and wondered if it would be possible for you to make the waist smaller on the front-up setting.  If with the diaper not folded over, having the wings meet in the middle is still too small for his waist, have you tried using that center snap?  With the diaper facing you, if you snap the left wing into the second and third snap from the left side and then snap the right wing into the center snap from the left wing and the third snap from the right, you can have a pretty small waist.  I'm not sure if that would make the thighs too tight then, but thought it might be worth an experiment?

I am not exactly sure if this would help, but I would sometimes snap my MEOS on the non-folded down smallest setting and then fold the diaper down at the back.  It makes the waist a bit smaller and also lessens sagging
