So, I was wondering how common this is out there for all you other cloth diapering mamas....my poor husband probably gets sick and tired of hearing my little rants about: "oh-honey-we-should-really-look-into-getting-this-one-thingy-that-will-TOTALLY-help-with-the-cloth-diapers! It's-this-wonderful-new-PUL-type-thing-that-reduces-drying-time(which-saves-money!)--and-will-help-our-LOs-not-chaffe,etc-!"  Ha ha...So true, though. I'm always wanting to upgrade, or help find a better way of doing CDing.

Granted I am fairly new to CDing, so I'm sure (praying) that once I get my solid routine down, I will not need (or want) to keep exploring (and spending more $$$).

Anyway, just a somewhat playful thought, was wondering if my husband was the only one sick of hereing about CDing and how exciting it is!!     Cheers, Jo

Oh, you will always want more  I am always looking for new wetbags, or diapers, or pails, when in fact, I have plenty of diapers, bags and pails.
I really have to control myself...

lol. My DH thinks I'm nuts!! In fact he would be horrified if he had any idea just how much I've actually spent on diapers - mostly because he has no idea how much sposies cost. He did think I was crazy though when I told him i'd really like a diaper sprayer for Christmas!

I know ME diapers have saved me tons of money over disposables, but I guess this is another example of how they've saved me money!  I started with ME and although I do look at other websites and pet any diapers I find at stores, I just can't justify buying more diapers when the ones I have are perfect.  Sometimes that almost bums me, though, because there are so very many cute diapers out there!
My friends who don't CD can't understand why anyone would want to talk about diapers, read about diapers, look at diapers, but I guess that's because they haven't discovered how nice diapers really can be.  :-)
I would totally be on board with a diaper sprayer for Christmas!

The previous post could have been mine, word for word, though I'm waiting for baby #3 in a few years to get a diaper sprayer.

My husband could totally empathize!  When I'm having diaper issues it becomes an obsession.  Fortunately, I think I've figured it out for the most part so it doesn't come up as often.

I can't figure out why its so addictive either ... I mean, its pee and poo in a diaper which needs to be washed every other day ... but I love it.  Its nice to find others that find it "exciting".  I'm not sure how much I saved over posies either (especially since DS used to get a lot of rashes from the cloth so I have used posies quite a bit), but with #2 on the way, the savings should now be huge as the diapers we have definitely have a full life left in them.  But most of ours are very utilitarian (flats, pre-folds, plain ME, white covers), and the "pretty" ones are awfully tempting!  (To be true to my environmental self though, I can't justify the purchase either.)
