We have some MotherEase One size diapers, my son is larger and these are working but I was researching the Toddle ones for larger kids? Does anyone have an opinion on these? The All in ones make more sense as I plan to use with a second child but wondered if the Toddle Ease are good to use like a training pant as well? Pull up and On?

The Toddle-Ease are just larger versions of the Sandy's diapers. They're great for either late trainers, very large toddlers or for nighttime for older toddlers/preschoolers. They're significantly more absorbant than the One-Size, this could be useful for nighttime especially.

They're great diapers but as to wether you need them really depends on how old your son is (ie how close to potty training day and/or night). Chances are pretty good that the One-Size will fit him fine till he's out of diapers completly. If the waist starts getting too small you can always get extenders for the One-Size, they won't help with the rise but will give you more room at the waist. You have to call ME directly for those, they're not on the website.

If you use them at night and think it'll be a while before he's dry at night then the Toddle-Ease are probably worth the investment. But if he's close to nighttime dryness and/or you don't plan on using them at night, then you could surely get by with the One-Size (and a few extenders if necessary).

Some do use them as trainers of sorts to pull up/down, same with the Lg Sandy's. They're not waterproof though and I don't know how easy it would be to pull the cover on/off...

I'm not sure what you mean about the All-In-Ones...

Karen.

i got a bunch of these thinking that they would be great for when my daughter (she was about 2 or 2 1/2) for night times but they were so unbelievably bulky (especially to someone who only ever used disposables) she had to waddle to walk!!! She loved the feel of cloth and was so excited about them but she couldn't get comfortable enough to sleep (she's a side sleeper) i had to take them off her and haven't been able to use them much since. Sometimes i put them on my toddler if i want to let her go without a cover since it would hold more. So i personally don't think they are a great investment

I, too, started looking into TE because I thought I would probably need them.  I didn't, though, and was able to use the OS until my son PTed around 33/34 lbs, and his L Sandys would probably have fit him to a higher weight than that.  I was looking to buy ahead because I was overseas and had diapers brought over to me, but I'm glad I waited, as it's money I didn't need to spend.

You are right--it can be absolutely overwhelming to look into all the different choices and brands.  For a couple different reasons (one of which was resale value, which tells you that I wasn't sure how we were going to do with cloth) I went only with ME products.  Although I sometimes look at other diapers because I'm curious, or they're cute, I'm glad to be using ME because they're bulletproof--and they've made me truly LOVE cloth diapering.

I purchased a few TE's for my 2.5 year old DD who is 32 ish pounds, and I LOVE them. In fact i just ordered another one yesterday.    We use them overnight(LG Sandy's just not big enought) with a sandy's liner and a zorb doubler with no problems.  When DD is ready to PT, they will work well for that as well.  They are a bit bulkier, but DD has no issues with them. They will definitely last until she is out of diapers.
I wouldnt get a whole stash of them, but definately like having a few.
