organic cotton or stretchy cotton? (susnrob)

I buy organic whenever possible, but in this case I want a diaper that is going to be durable.  How different are the OC and SC MEOS diapers?

oh and how do the white and unbleached stretchy cotton MEOS differ?  I prefer unbleached prefolds so I'm thinking I'd prefer these in unbleached too.

As soon as I have the funds I'm going to order the package with 12 OS, 6 liners and 3 covers.  Can't wait....I'm borrowing some from a friend and they work wonderfully on my daughter.

I'll be using them in combination with a dozen prefolds and some thirsties covers.  I do really like the airflow covers though as DD can't seem to take them off like she can the velcro thirsties.

Can't comment on the organic cotton, but with the bleached vs. unbleached, I have both (got a bunch of washed-once bleached for super cheap, bought unbleached myself), and I really can't tell the difference after several years of use.  The difference goes away sooner than that, I think, as the unbleached lighten and the bleached are no longer pure white.
The only downside I can see to the unbleached is that they may need a few more initial washes to reach maximum absorbancy, and that's no big deal.  Personally, if you go with standard OS, I would go with the unbleached.
And the AFs are truly awesome covers.  Kids don't undo them, they cover the diaper easily, and you just know--snap, snap, snap, snap--the right setting instead of having to fiddle with it.

Okay this makes sense.  I think that I'll probably go with the unbleached.....unbleached always looks so nice.  I have noticed that the unbleached prefolds have lightened up over time.

I did try a few MEOS when my first two (twin boys) were younger, but for whatever reason I didn't love them as much as I do with my DD.  I remember looking at this website back in 2006 when my boys were babies and I was wanting to switch to cloth.  I wish I would have purchased a huge package of these and just stuck with them.  I'd still be using the same diapers now on DD.  I tried so many different types with the boys and in the end loved prefolds.  Started DD out with prefolds and then added some pockets.  I just get so frustrated with leaks with the pockets.  We haven't had a leak when using the AF covers.  They rock!

I have both organic and regular unbleached. I really can't tell the difference between them fit wise, doesn't seem like the "stretch" does anything. I've only been using them for 4 months, so can't really comment on longevity. I like buying organic fabrics as well. The organic is darker in color than the regular unbleached, but they are getting to be closer to the same color as they are being used.
