life span of AF covers (heather w)

Hi all,
I'm wondering what the experience of others has been regarding the life of AF covers. Some of mine have recently started leaking through and while it's usually after prolonged sitting or sleeping in one position (I figure pressure just forces the fluid through eventually), that's not always the case. I bought them all used but in really good condition, and have been using them consistenly for ~1yr. I've been happy with them and this doesn't seem unreasonable but am curious what others have found. Thanks.

I have some L AFs that have been in use for probably over three years.  Through two children, anyway, and they are still going strong.  Anecdotally, this doesn't seem to be an abnormally long life span, but there have also been people on the forum who have noticed them starting to go sooner.  ME guarantees them for a few (maybe five or six?) months or so, but they do last longer than that.  I suspect that much depends on how many are in rotation (I have , how they are washed/dryed (hot vs. cold, air-dry vs. dryer, washed with things that could snag them, like open zippers) etc.
