just wondering if some one could help me... we started CDing about 2 months ago and my daughter now has her first diaper rash... its just one bright red patch not really bumpy and its not all over her bum just kind of in between her privates and bum if that makes sense. Ive been giving her lots of air time and I just broke down and put some penatin with a disposable liner over it when I put her diaper on. Any suggestions on what could be causing it and how to get it cleared?

that actually kind of sounds like a friction rash to me. is your daughter kicking her legs and crawling alot? if so, that might be what it is. air time and the rash cream are probably sufficient to get rid of the rash but honestly, if it really is not bothering her, i would not be too worried about it. maybe some other moms have better suggestions. just do not give up on cding because of this rash. cloth is much healthier and better for a baby's skin than paper.

Hey that rash sounds alot like what my daughter who is 6wks old has. Go to my post listed "Pictures of Diaper Rash" and tell me if that looks like your childs rash. The way you described it sounds like what I have been dealing with for weeks!!!

I went back to my post "Pictures of Diaper Rash" and the picture links are still there. You have to click on the link for the picture to come up. I am getting some feedback that it looks fungal. I wonder if that is what yours is too?!?!

hi I was able to get in now I just had to open it in another window.. probably my computer lol.... my daughters rash does look like that to but hers its all one big red splotch... I read the replies on your post and I think Im going to try tea tree oil... thank you!
