|I sent my daughter to home day care from the time she was 11 months until she was 17 months. She wore the onesize, and I sent 6 diapers in a clean wetbag, along with one spare cover each day. I always put the same cover back on for the whole day (I only change them in the morning), so that's how I told the daycare lady to do it. The spare cover was in case she pooped on her cover. I also left a small bag with 2 cloth diapers, a cover and 4 disposable diapers that were there on her shelf in case she ran out of diapers. I just finished day care, and got the small bag back, unused (she'd never needed it).
So I only sent one cover, but I don't rotate them during the day at home anyway. Maybe because my daughter was at home care, I didn't have any trouble with diapers or covers going missing, at least not in six months. I was afraid once that she had thrown one of my diapers out (because I got a disposable in my diaper pail one night), but I counted the other day and still had 36.
Hope that helps, sorry so long. Daycare was stressful for me, but actually worked out well, and she only came home in her extra pair of clothes twice (and I think once was because she sat on wet grass).
