  blisters in the morning (jjei)

my daughter woke up this morning after sleeping from 9pm-10am with 2 pencil eraser size blisters on her bum. We use a mother ease with snap in liner and fleece liner over night. She has had a bum rash for about a week now. I'm thinking the rash is from teething and her cold. Also her diaper was soaked even the tabs so I'm thinking she needs more absorbency over night. This is the first time she has ever had blisters on her bum since we started CDing so I don't think its a reaction to the soap or anything.Any suggestions on how to heal the blisters and what I should use for more absorbency in her night time dipes?

lots of naked time to help heal the blisters...use a fleece liner to protect your diapers with a really good diaper rash cream until they fully heal.  You may need to strip the diapers.  My daughter had a rash that wouldn't go away and it turned out our diapers needed to be stripped.  You may have ammonia build up that is causing a burn with the overnight diapers, and stripping should help.

ME sells StayDry liners that keep the moisture away from the skin. These helped with my DD big time! She would break out into a rash if she sat in a wet diaper for more than 10 mins, but after the liners, she was alot better.

Try adding an extra liner at night for absorbency.

I second the idea of covering with cream. I would use the biodegradble liners though (I like Kushies because they're long and thin, the ME ones are sooooo big, but they both work) because I've been using cloth liners, and have found that the liners are getting all gunked up with cream and are really hard to get clean.

But a good coating of cream is all that has helped my daughter so far, and she had blister like rashes in the morning. I was told not to use polyester against her skin, and so I stopped using the ME stay dry liners, and actually found that she's not nearly as red in the morning (wetter, yes, but less red skin all around). But that's just my experience with the stay dry stuff.
