Since I used my ME bag for the first time today, I thought I'd give some feedback.
1) I love the squared bottom. If you are going to be using this for lots of heavy groceries, you could cut a rectangle of cardboard or plastic to fit the bottom to give it more rigidity and help keep things from jumbling together.
2) One thing I hadn't considered until I was unloading the van is that the straps are long enough to put over my shoulder--hurrah! Not essential if this is just for groceries, but handy if it's lighter stuff, and a very nice thing if you are going to be using this for something like a beach bag, etc.
3) The drawstring is a little stiff. I'm guessing this will ease up with use. Not that essential for groceries, but a cool idea for those other canvas-bag uses, so I think that's a nifty extra. |
