question Suggestions for bedtime wetness (msles)

Hello everyone this is my first time visiting the ME site & so far it has been incredibly helpful. I'm sure the answer to my question is probably somewhere in the archives here but I really just need some advice from more experienced CD folks than myself.

My daughter is 9 1/2 mos. & wears cloth all the time but this summer we've been sleeping her in a chlorine free disposable b/c after she got about 6 or 7 mos. every morning we'd wake up to her being totally soaked along with the blanket/sheet below her....What protocol can I follow for night-time to ensure she stays somewhat dry?

She sleeps with me at night & I change her everytime she wakes up fussing with a wet dipe but it seems that as she's gotten older she just pees in her sleep or something b/c I no longer am waked by her for a diaper change...

The CDs we use are really just whatever we can find at our local baby-consignment place or get as hand-me-downs(we can't afford new stuff). usually its just a cover & plain cotton prefold, with snappi.

At night we'd use 2 thick prefolds but as i said now we're using those pesky disposables for sleeping. The brands we have are bummi, swaddlebees, gerber (for the prefolds) & my favorite- Mother ease. We were recently given a bunch of hand-me-down one-size ME diapers, liners, & other older one-size diapers as well.

If anyone out there has any advice on how we can get back to using cloth at night I'd appreciate SO much. Thanks for your time!

I'd suggest more absorbency at night for sure. My son is almost 5 months old, and he sleeps with a mother ease one-size, and two absorbent liners. My daughter is almost 2 and sleeps in the same (she doesn't wake up to drink in the night like my son does though). My mom told me that when I was little and she cloth diapered me, she put on 4 flats at night. So you could use more absorbency for sure. I find that in the morning, my son's diaper is super super soaked, but it doesn't leak out (his clothes and blankets are still totally dry).
I hope that helps.

I second the increased absorbency, and will comment with that to make sure that you are using a cover that is big enough.  Even if it technically covers everything, I found it was better to be on the big side.
The other things to check are to make sure that clothing isn't creeping into the cover and possibly wicking out moisture.
