The sun took my bright orange OS and made them look new again, but they can hang completely flat. I will say that I've found it quite hard to get the grey tone out of the fabric between the ruffles on the Sandys. Granted, I didn't typically put much effort into it, as I've found that most stains work out over time in the wash, especially with line-drying (or at least air-drying, so the stains don't get set by the dryer). Once when I sold some Sandys for a friend, I have some success applying lemon juice directly to the stains and then kind of stretching the legs out on the clothesline. The clothespins would slide back over time, but it did help somewhat. It won't help the ruffles, but one of the best ways to reduce staining is to use fleece liners. Even though with BF poops they don't all stick around where they originated, the liners do keep most of the poop and color off the diaper itself. |
