Washing soda is the base of pretty much every detergent out there, so that's obviously very safe. Wouldn't worry about that at all. It's just basically a water softener/conditioner...
Oxy-Clean is a bit more controversial, the fact that it's a whitening agent makes some nervous. And ME does recommend against all whitening agents... But then it is very commonly recommended by other companies and a common ingredient in homemade or wahm (work-at-home mom) detergent. Personally I haven't heard much in terms of real solid evidence that it can harm fiber, more speculation and internet stories of 'My neighbour told me that she heard from someone that read on a website once that it can "eat" through hemp or bamboo or whatever'. Nothing super reliable. And considering how commonly it's used, one would think there'd be something more substantial by now. So really it's up to you, if warranties are really important to you then you should know that ME may not honor their warranty if you have wear issues and have used Oxy-Clean (obviously it changes nothing to the snap warranty though). But then I do think the risk is fairly minimal, especially if you only use it every so often for tough stains or whatever...
