We have been using the Mother-Ease velcro covers over our diaper service fitteds. They are starting to smell now even after being washed, any tips on how to get rid of the smell?
TIA!
Bekki

We used airflow covers, but I found that we had a smell that wouldn't go away with our mediums. I had no luck getting rid of the smell (not encouraging news, I know). I did try sunning them, making sure they were never stored with wet diapers and soaking in baking soda. It really didn't help, but the one thing I didn't try that I thought of now, I might have tried tea tree oil - just on a whim, I'm not sure it would work. I just moved up a size when nothing worked - my daughter was getting to the end of the mediums, so we went up a size early. Sorry that's not overly helpful, but you can try what we tried, and maybe it will at least improve it a bit. Good luck.

Have the covers been put in the diaper pail with the dirty diapers?  Probably not, since you are using a service, but they should always be stored separately.

We had some covers get a little smelly as my boys got older and had stronger pee; I just washed them in the machine instead of handwashing them, and that really helped.  Between that and sun, they were okay.
I think that TTO in the wash probably wouldn't hurt.  You could also try maybe making paste of baking soda and water and letting that sit on the insides.  Shouldn't hurt, and might help?
